The Classes


Hip-hop dance:

This includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping. These dances are popular as a form of physical exercise, an art form, and for competition. Great for any level dancer and teaches the learner musicality and isolation.

Contemporary:

In contemporary dance, people attempt to explore the natural energy and emotions of their bodies to produce dances, which are often very personal. With a connection between mind and body, you are encouraged to explore emotions through dance that push against traditional boundaries. This style of dance often involves a great deal of playing with balance, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation.

Latin/Ballroom:

Dance typically includes dances originating in Latin America and the Caribbean islands, among others. Dances taught at World of Dance include cha cha cha, foxtrot, rumba, samba, waltz, jive as well as tango. You do not need a partner to join this course, individuals are welcome.

Dance Fitness:

A class combining important toning and strengthening exercises with basic dance moves. Recommended for current competitive dancers and beginners who are looking to tone up and have a little excitement in their workout. Each individual will work at their own level and is guaranteed to get an overall full body workout whilst still enjoying the music and movements.

Freestyle:

A funky rhythmical dance style that includes medal tests and leads to completive dance. For individuals serious about a career in dance or event simple looking for an extreme work out this is the ideal style for you. With in depth technique and various routines and styles you will be hooked.

Tiny tots:

A fun, exciting and educational way for child between the ages of 2 and 7 years to learn the basics of dance. From flexibility to musicality not to mention improvisation & technique. Dance is the best way for children to make friends and learn. Our tiny tots class is a 30 minute dance class.

Pole Dancing:

Basic Instincts Studio Presents the ultimate high form of exercise and dance (Encounters of the sensual kind!). These low impact workouts will whip you into shape in no time and will tone your body like a dancer! Beginner Modules: Learn the art of graceful seduction through body-talk.

The Beginner Pole Dancing workout targets all those problem areas! Your mind, soul, tummy, bum, thighs, arms and everything in between! Intermediate Module: Train every muscle into rhythmic flexibility.

The Intermediate Pole Dancing Class will introduce you to the art of pole dancing. Learn the tricks and spins and inverts that makes pole dancing such a great sport and an awesome workout!

Advanced Modules: Know the power within – reap the benefits of having the secrets of womanhood. This is where the magic happens. You will have yourself in awe when you see how you have progressed to twist and turn your body around in the Advanced Pole Dancing class.

Pole Conditioning: In this class we focus on strengthening you for pole dancing. The exercises will assist you in the pole tricks, flexibility, and general fitness. A sexy workout to warm you up!

As a Qualified Pilates instructor and Musical Theatre Graduate, Sam has been training people for over 5 years.

Having just returned from working as the fitness GO in ClubMed South East Asia. Samantha has the knack for fine tuning and developing a great and easy way of exercise ensuring you see and feel results immediately.

Posture Rite, Resist 10, DanSING Cardio Techniques:
These different techniques allow the body to succeed. When your body can achieve certain techniques it is more eager to learn and develop faster. Once you have these techniques imprinted in your muscle memory your body starts remembering how to hold itself and train itself. So we start listening to our bodies and feeling what they are saying to us, we move forward.

Confidence is the big reason we don’t achieve what we want to, through these techniques Sam will help you learn HOW to be the best when it comes to keeping fit.

By joining Personal CardioPilates you will be able to train your body on your own and have gained the knowledge of how your body works. The exercises’ are easy, understandable and only take one hour of your time.

Adult Ballet:

A technical form of dance which incorporates foundational techniques for many other dance forms. Besides being a total body work out, it will also promote better posture, poise and flexibity. Ballet will also tone your muscles without creating a bulky appearance. There are numerous intellectual benefits on top of the physical side. You will also develop more self confidence. Although it is a disciplined dance form, our open ballet classes are fun and are a good way to socialize with people.
